This July, we invite you to join us for Holy Spirit 101: A Foundational Guide to God's Presence, a month-long journey into the heart of God’s indwelling power. Together, we’ll explore who the Holy Spirit is, how the Spirit works in our lives, and why Jesus promised that the Spirit would be our constant guide and companion.

Whether you’re new to the faith or have walked with God for years, this series will offer fresh insight into the Spirit’s role in shaping, empowering, and sustaining the life of every believer. Come discover the power of God within—and be transformed.

Backpack Sunday

August 10th
10:45 AM Service

Join us for our annual Backpack Sunday celebration at Franklin First UMC! As our children and school staff prepare to return to classrooms, we will come together during our 10:45 AM worship service on August 10th to ask for God's blessings upon them for a new academic year.

This cherished tradition is a wonderful opportunity to uplift our students, teachers, and school administrators as they embark on another journey of learning and growth. We encourage you to bring your own backpacks, school bags, or even a symbolic item to be blessed during this special service. After service, children will be able to select some needed supplies for school.

We also invite our entire community to participate in a meaningful way: Please be collecting school supplies! We will be joyfully giving away these collected supplies to children and school staff members, helping to equip them for success. Following the worship service, students will have the opportunity to select some free school supplies!

Your generosity can make a real difference in the lives of those in our schools. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to share in these heartfelt blessings and be a part of this inspiring start to the school year. We can't wait to see you there!
