The season of Advent precedes Christmas, and we observe Advent on the four Sundays before Christmas – this year beginning December 1.
Our Advent focus this year will be on the some of the common folk of the Christmas story. We will consider Zechariah, Joseph, and the Shepherds to discover how God was with them in their unusual circumstances.
God is with us in our unusual circumstances as well, even though it may be easier to see God’s presence in retrospect.
Let’s make sure that in the busyness of the holiday season,
we make Jesus our focus.
Need a Prayer?
Prayer is a powerful resource when you or a loved one is hurting or sick. We often call upon our Franklin First family to pray for others in need. If you or someone you know is in need of prayers, let Pastor Laura and our prayer warriors pray for your concerns.
