Life is full of choices, each one calling for our attention.
It’s natural to wonder: “Is this the right place for me? Will I feel at home? What can I expect if I visit?” These are thoughtful questions—and we’re glad you’re asking them.
At Franklin First United Methodist Church, we’re a modest-sized congregation with a big heart and a family feel. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or have been walking with Christ for years, you’ll find a place here.
Our mission is simple and heartfelt:
We’d love to meet you and walk alongside you. You’re always welcome here.

"Prepare Your Heart: A Journey to Bethlehem"
The season of Advent is one of anticipation and profound preparation. This year, Pastor Laura invites you to walk a sacred path with our Advent series, inspired by best-selling author Adam Hamilton’s compelling book, "Prepare the Way for the Lord."
Before the Baby of Bethlehem arrived, there was a voice crying out in the wilderness: John the Baptist. In this four-week series, we will explore the themes from John’s ministry—including repentance, grace, and light—that are vital to understanding the true meaning of Christ's arrival.
As John called an entire generation to prepare the way for the Lord, Pastor Laura will guide us in preparing our own hearts and lives to receive Jesus. Come and discover how getting truly "ready" for Christmas can deepen your faith and bring new light to the most wonderful time of the year.
Join Pastor Laura every Sunday in Advent at 10:45 am, in-person or live on Facebook.
This Christmas season, help us fill the altar with beauty and remembrance by purchasing a poinsettia in honor or in memory of someone special. Red, white, and pink poinsettias will adorn our sanctuary, creating a festive and meaningful display for worship.
Cost: $10
Deadline to order: Sunday, Dec. 7th
After our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, you are welcome to take your poinsettia home to enjoy through the holidays.
Celebrate the season by sharing love and remembrance in this beautiful tradition.
