Mark your calendar for the
Annual Fall Marketplace at Franklin First!
Saturday, Nov.1st
- This is your chance to enjoy our famous Chicken & Noodles, Bean Soup, and Barbecue - all made from scratch with love and fresh ingredients.
- You can order them by the quart or pint, or even get a 1-pound bag of dry homemade noodles to cook at home. Watch for our pre-order link in October!
- You’ll also find a variety of vendors offering amazing products like Thirty-One, Scentsy, and homemade decorations and crafts. Whether you’re looking for something for yourself or a gift for someone else, you’ll find it here!
- And while you’re here, why not treat yourself to a yummy lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.?
Annual Noodle-Making
Every October, the Women’s Circle transforms our Fellowship Hall and kitchen into a noodle making production event. Flour dusts the air, eggs are cracking, mixers roaring, & rolling pins rolling as laughter fills the room. Our Annual Noodle Making event is a cherished tradition that brings together the women of Franklin First in a mission of hard work and heartfelt fellowship.
Last year the Women's Circle made
more than 600 batches of noodles.
As we roll, cut, and dry these noodles, we’re not only preparing for our Fall Marketplace; we’re creating memories and making a tangible difference for our church. The fruits of our labor go beyond the kitchen, supporting the many ministries and outreach programs that define our mission.
We welcome all to join us in our noodle-making endeavor, where every batch mixed and every noodle cut is a celebration of our faith in action.
Annual Altar Flower Sales
Celebrate with a Tribute of Blooms
Each Christmas and Easter, the Women’s Circle invites you to honor those dear to you through the gift of flowers to decorate our altar. Choose spring potted flowers for Easter or the classic poinsettias for Christmas. Each purchase is a heartfelt tribute, whether in memory or in honor of a loved one and noted in a special bulletin for the holiday.
Embrace this tradition of remembrance and celebration, your thoughtful gesture not only adorns our altar but you are welcome to take the plant home after the Worship service.
Croppin' Good Time
Join the Scrapbooking Celebration with Women’s Circle!
Each March, the Women’s Circle hosts a scrapbooking event like no other. With every snip and placement, participants turn cherished memories into masterpieces.

Enjoy sixteen hours of uninterrupted scrapbooking joy, complete with your own crafting table.
Indulge in a Saturday brunch and savor our salad & potato bar for dinner. Join us for a weekend where memories are treasured and new friendships are formed.

Community Outreach
Touching Lives Beyond Our Circle
The Women’s Circle also extends its support into the broader community through outreach initiatives:
- Breast Cancer Awareness and Fundraising: We have hosted bake sales, where every treat sold helps fund breast cancer research and support services.
- Christmas Distribution - Adopting a Family: The spirit of giving is at the heart of our Christmas outreach. Each year, we adopt a family, ensuring they experience the joy and blessings of the season.
- Support for Franklin High School Drama Arts: We take pride in nurturing the arts within our community. By hosting a dinner for the spring production of Franklin High School’s Drama Arts program, we not only celebrate the talents of young performers but also foster a culture of appreciation for the arts and our local teens.
Through these endeavors, the Women’s Circle not only strengthens the bonds within but also reaches out to touch the lives of others, spreading faith, hope, and love.

Get Ready for “A Croppin' Good Time”
Are you a scrapbooking enthusiast looking for an event to spark your creativity and meet fellow crafters? Look no further! Franklin First UMC is hosting “A Croppin' Good Time” on
Friday, September 19, 2025,
from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and
Saturday, September 20, 2025,
from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.
This 16-hour scrapbooking extravaganza promises to be a joyful and productive experience for all attendees.
Event Details:
- Location: Franklin First UMC, 303 South Main Street, Franklin, OH 45005
- Registration Cost: $50
- Included:
- A 5-foot round or rectangular table for your crafting needs
- Saturday brunch and a salad & potato bar dinner
- Electrical outlets and Wi-Fi (please bring your own extension cord)
