You're Invited to Celebrate the Season with Us!
As we enter this sacred time of year, we invite you to join us for our Advent and Christmas activities at Franklin First UMC. Together, we’ll celebrate the gifts of hope, peace, joy, and love — the beautiful promises God offers us through Jesus.
This season is also a time to reflect on how we can share those gifts with others in our community and beyond. Whether you're new to church or have been part of a faith family for years, you are welcome here.
Franklin First is a friendly, faith-filled community that loves God and loves people.
We’d be honored to celebrate this meaningful season with you — and we look forward to seeing you soon!

The season of Advent is one of anticipation and profound preparation. This year, Pastor Laura invites you to walk a sacred path with our Advent series, inspired by best-selling author Adam Hamilton’s compelling book, "Prepare the Way for the Lord."
Before the Baby of Bethlehem arrived, there was a voice crying out in the wilderness: John the Baptist. In this four-week series, we will explore the themes from John’s ministry—including repentance, grace, and light—that are vital to understanding the true meaning of Christ's arrival.
As John called an entire generation to prepare the way for the Lord, Pastor Laura will guide us in preparing our own hearts and lives to receive Jesus. Come and discover how getting truly "ready" for Christmas can deepen your faith and bring new light to the most wonderful time of the year.
Join Pastor Laura every Sunday
in Advent at 10:45 am, in-person or live on Facebook.

The nativity scene holds a cherished place in many homes — near the Christmas tree, on a mantle, or wherever your family gathers to reflect and pray during the season. It’s a beautiful reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.
We invite you to bring a piece of your home nativity — a figure, an angel, or even the manger itself — to receive a special blessing during worship.
